On Monday we participated in science experiments about floating and sinking.  We learned that an orange floats with the skin on and sinks with the skin off, regular Coca Cola cans sink but diet Coca Cola floats, playdough will sink but an attached pen lid will float to the top.  This session was messy but lots of fun with a lot of learning.

All the fun of Book Week ended with an exciting day dressing up as our favourite book characters.

I hope you all had a very enjoyable and peaceful Easter.  The weather was certainly good for the holiday.  This afternoon the children from Room 4 (Miss Peat's class) came in to talk about a book they had each studied and show the children from Room 2 how to play a game relating to the book.

Our wonderful Friday - School assembly, Duffy Theatre and the lovely presentation of our prayer service which was about the Stations of the Cross.

Today we celebrated our learning about how the brain works.  The children participated in different activities about hygiene, healthy eating and exercise all the while having a lot of fun.  Julia was lucky enough to also celebrate her 6th birthday today - Happy Birthday Julia, we all hope you had a very special day.  At the end of the day we relaxed with yoga and meditation.  The day was obviously a little too tiring for little Franzie who fell asleep at the end.  Enjoy the pictures of our lovely day.
